Simply enjoying the abundant cash that comes with working full time. Don't mind me. I'm thoroughly enjoying what my mum calls "hospital shoes" this spring, I've been hunting for something like these for over a year ever since I saw similar on Kastor & Pollux. Dani and Bianca are gorgeous. They're an endless amount of inspiration for anyone who needs an idea for an outfit. I envy anyone who can have a double blogger fiasco. It's hard enough to plan photos for one person, but with a duo? How. Do. They. DO it? It'd be a nice question to ask these duos.

I've got Ariana Grande stuck in my head. I can't stop singing her songs when they hit up on my grooveshark playlists. So here's a small post today with today's outfit I wore to work. Retail can be tough but luckily we can wear Dr. Martens around. I recently received them for Christmas from my boyfriend, I'm ecstatic to wear them all the time forever! I also bought some Report look alikes and mum got me some new flats from Marshalls earlier this month. Got some clothes pre-picked from Urban Outfitters for Christmas from her too (from their 50% off sale items sale!) I got lots! But my time in retail is growing short I put in my 2 weeks notice today and I'm getting mentally prepared for back to school. I'm totally not ready to go back...

Urban outfitter's Sale Mini Haul

Finally! Bought some of UO's sale online with their extra 50% sale. I ordered on a Saturday October 13th and it arrived just this Thursday October 24th. Was hoping it'd come in a week but of course I forgot they need time to "pack and send off" the package and I payed through paypal so of course it takes time to confirm payment. The packaged didn't come over for almost 2 weeks I almost gave up hope! Oh well at least it was free shipping. So I received 3 items in all, 2 shoes and 1 sunglasses from the sale!

The Sunglasses came in plastic with a muslin cotton printed string-tie bag. Nifty and cute.

So all in all I bought 2 pairs of boots and some sunglasses however, I had to return the Creme boots. They ran a little tight up in the toe box and there was a crease at the top of the foot that was very noticeable when I walked. Super disappointing too because they only had 1 of my sizes available left online. But that's okay I preferred the tougher look with the heel cut out boots by Deena and Ozzy. I'll have the pics of my sunglasses on my next outfit post, very basic stuff but was a great deal at $5.00. See ya tomorrow!

Just putting up snippets of Chicago. Me and my sister were down for a day shopping in the Magnificent Mile. Fantastic place. I know Chicago Fashion week is going on at the moment however we could not stay for the duration of it. I'm so jealous if you can go all this week! But anyway I hope you enjoyed the haul and pictures :D

I used to hate girly frilly things. Hated it. I was a tomboy through and through when I was younger and loved my jeans and t-shirts. I still do, but now I have an appreciation for lace. Romantic and detailed, edgy and rough. I've learned there's all sorts of lace out there to wonder at.
But enough about lace, my big weakness is for leather, and  I've been needing a good sized black leather tote for a while. Mum got me the bag when we were shopping at Marshalls, thank goodness I have a mother who loves shopping as much as me!

If any of you have a Topshop close by, on August 10th online (USA topshop) and in store they'll be giving a student discount for 20% off! You're very lucky if you have one nearby...but I'll just stalk the USA store online a bit more on that day haha! (my wallet is burning right about now)

PS. Isn't the Kitty bag adorable??? I'm going to keep it forever and maybe get another. My designer senses are loving the design. :D

I said earlier that I was getting tired of peplum, but it seems I'm not quite done with it quite yet. "But this time it's different!" (said as the boy-boy sighs~* haha) I mean the sophistication of the cut, slimming the waistline, looking clean, and appealing. Anyone can have a change of heart about a trend I suppose. Including me!

End of the Sophomore year, insanely hot. The end of the year brought lots of challenges in terms of how much I can push myself creatively, and I really feel a place I fit in this design world. I feel the pieces fitting in all around me, and all the support necessary is abound. This spring feels fresh and new, white is the new black. White the color of renewal and cleanliness. I've got a new appreciation of this romantic spring color, and it feels so right. Let's celebrate more with this color.
