Obscured Skin

(Rings left to right: Akira Chicago, Forever 21/ Bracelet: Forever 21)

(Clothing and belt from the Thrift store)

More crop-top love. It's a tad too hot right now to wear anything so literally I feel like wearing nothing unless it's airy and skin-worthy. Alas, it's summertime! And my wardrobe is only filled with thin airy shirts I can breathe in.

Lipstick collection

(Favorite picks: Revlon and Flirt!)

Been really into reds and pinks for the summer, but a nice dark raspberry is a good indulgence every once in a while. Drugstore brands aren't considered "the best" but Revlon has become my favorite to look for in lip color. Their colors look nice on my asian skin, not overwhelming. I've recently got in some No. 7 lipsticks in though, and I'm loving how smooth they glide on. Where is your favorite place to buy lipstick? Sephora? Mac? Lemme know!

Sultry Sun

Photography by Joshua Ross

Wearing:
Peplum Top worn under skirt (Fashion Star for Macy's)
Nine West Watch
Clutch (Steve Madden)

Took a few shots with my favorite Photographer Joshua Ross! We went tea tasting on this refreshing day and the day couldn't have been more fun! Talking with him about our passions in art makes me miss school already. There is still so much to learn! And we can't wait to get back.

Denim Indulgences for the Summer

Denim Bustier (LoveFire $8.00), Brown Sunglasses (no brand from Marshalls $3.00), Denim Dress ($12.00)

Some summer-like indulgences with denim. Doesn't hurt when you buy them on sale.

I got 99 problems

Wearing:
Men's Cap (Target)
Netted top worn backwards (Nastygal.com)
Men's Puma Tee (Puma)
Sneaker Wedges (Steve Madden)
Bag (Aldo)

Not really. I really don't have 99 problems. However, when you're extremely busy, traveling, eating Thai and Hmong food, socializing with family for 3 straight weeks, it feels like you're blown over when you're done. But it was fun to be with the family, totally worth the drive. Anyhow, for the outfit, I was channeling street/menswear to be comfortable for some spicy Thai with the girls in the family.
I'd told myself I'd lay off the black and gold for the spring, but couldn't resist wearing out this T-shirt. I loved the design so much, I saw it once and knew it was mine. Sometimes you just know, ya know?

Love at first sight? Haha!
